The maps illustrate how the transport infrastructure of a city hospital changed after three years from 2007. Overall, vehicle access has been significantly improved with added features and facilities.
In 2007, a shared car park for staff and the public was located to the east of Hospital Road. This site, nonetheless, was restricted to exclusive staff use in 2010. As a result, a public parking area was
constructed alongside the hospital on the east side. Notably, the Ring Road which surrounded the city hospital provided access to both of the car parks.
Regarding public transportation, it used to be available at three bus stops either side of Hospital Road. By 2010, these places had been demolished; instead, a bus station was present on the west side of Hospital Road. To facilitate easy access to this station, two roundabouts were built at the intersection of City Road and Hospital Road as well as at the intersection of the Ring Road and Hospital Road.
